Descriptions of all levels that I teach in Gendai Reiki-ho and Komyo Reiki, are given on my training page. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me
For details on Meditation and Connecting with nature visit my Meditation & Beyond page.
It may appear small, but it is powerful is the perfect description of Shoden level (the entrance), in both Gendai Reiki-ho and Komyo Reiki. The pre-Shoden I offer for children of all ages also relates to this article. Moms or Dads are welcome to stay through the class.
The third level called Shinpiden in Gendai Reiki-ho is not the teacher’s level; completing Gokuikaiden, the fourth level, allows a person to teach. Nevertheless, Shinpiden is the level once called mysterious that raises spiritual awareness. This gives an astonishing enrichment to all areas of life if the student is open to receive. Reiki master/teachers of other styles of Usui Reiki Ryoho have studied this level with me to enhance that which he or she already practices.
Pre-registration is always required. The size of my classes is limited. One of the most common comments on my students’ evaluations is, “Roberta took the time to make sure everyone understood, and all questions were answered before moving on”. Once student commented, “I was very happy with my experience, both educationally and spiritually. I am grateful to Roberta’s important message, her patience, and her knowledge and enthusiasm about Reiki”. Some of my certificates in Usui Reiki Ryoho and Herbalist, and two of Japanese lineages to Mikao Usui are shown on my bio page.

In consideration of today’s cost in traveling, I am in many cases extending the number of hours per Reiki class so that the 12 hours in class can be completed in two classes. I do not cut the quality of instruction, because to do so would deny you the opportunity to learn various techniques, experience the guided practice that allows you to become acquainted with the cords you are open to and ask various questions about things you experience and may have read. I love teaching and helping each student learn in the way best for him or her is my top priority in all classes. One student’s comment to me was, “You are very patient and understanding -- a precious find in this world”.
Pre-Shoden, which I offer to children of all ages, is completed in one class because only one attunement is given and the manual covers basics only. Different manuals are used for each level. It is my mission to give each student the best opportunity to assimilate and therefore I allow a few days to a week between classes. Often a parent or older sibling will register for Shoden at the same time the young child registers for Pre-Shoden. Both the adult and child attend the first class and then the adult goes on alone with the Shoden studies. When this happens, I offer a discount for the two combined levels.
